Village River

Pritish Aich completed his B.F.A on sculpture from Bengal Fine Arts College in the year 2003 and M.F.A on sculpture from University of Rabindra Bharati on 2008.

He spend his childhood in Maslandapur, a village of north 24 paraganas, West Bengal. There he developed a very strong sense of oneness with nature, especially landscape, one of his deepest source of inspiration. His art work speaks of his intimate touch with nature, the rustic village life and its elements from close proximity which he experienced in his daily life.
