Born on 27th May 1964, Bageshree Dutta belongs to belong to the Bengal School of Painters using Wash Painting, Tempera and Mixed media, the same school of such eminent artists as Nandalal Bose and Ramanando Bandopadhyay.

Presently she Heads the Art Department at South Point High School, Kolkata.
