ADITYA BASAK
Born in the heart of North Kolkata, he was awarded with a scholarship from the prestigious Government College of Art and Craft, Calcutta and graduated from the college in 1977, which commenced his journey as an artist.
He is immensely fascinated towards fantasies which are often unconventionally relevant. His works give shape to crude and jarring realities of real-life circumstances, and his paintings showcase the bizarre and weird thoughts lurking in the subconscious and unconscious mind, rendering a mysteriously haunting and disturbing attribute to his paintings.
