Born in Kolkata, he first completed his graduation from the University of Calcutta in Science, and then he pursued for bachelor’s and master’s degree in Visual Arts from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata.

He paints his experiences on his canvases, where he uses muptiple layers of paint and abstractions to redefine memory and space. His artworks present a fine line between complete abstraction and representative froms, which questions the role of narrative threads play in the experience of art.
