SUNIL DE
Born : 1975
- Graduated from the Government College of Art and Craft, Kolkata
- He is mostly an abstract painter for whom non-figurative forms can also achieve figurative forms, at least in imagination and paintings. For him, certain relevant issues of human lives transform into colours forming a visual music of both warm and cold sequences. All his paintings are signed as ‘Suneel’.
Exhibition
He participated in several individual and group expositions, both nationally and internationally. Some of the important exhibitions are as follows:
- Banga Sanskriti Sammelan;
- 1995 – ‘Calcutta Metropolitan Festival of Art’;
- 2000 – ‘Millennium Festival of Art’.
- 2006 – Singapore Art Festival.
