Sudipta Tewary is a self trained artist. He had his solo show at Art Walk Gallery Oberoi Towers, Mumbai in 1997 & 2002, also at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai in 2001.

Exhibition

  • Sudipta participated in various group shows all over in India including Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata in 1986-87.
  • ‘Human Form & Art’ at Lalit Kala Academy, Chennai. ‘In Search of Peace’ at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai in 1998.
  • ‘Metamorphical Image’ a Group Show at Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata in 1998. Jehangir Art Gallery organized by ‘Galleria’, Mumbai in 2000.

  • ‘Modern Myth’ changing images in Indian art (Texas, 2004) USA. This exhibition is a joint effort of Kala Fine Art & South-Asia Institute at the University of Texas, Austin in 2004. ‘
  • Art Waves, an exhibition of Indian Contemporary art at Artrium, MICA Building, Singapore by Art Mosaic, Singapore, 2005.
  • He attended several art workshops at Pondicherry organized by Art World, Chennai supported by French Embassy, Podicherry in 2005
  • Workshop at kolkata organized by Art World, Chennai in 2004. Workshop at ‘Lake Land Country Club’ organized by Artist Circle Kolkata, 2005.
Sudipta’s works can be seen at some important collectors in India and abroad, such as Kuwait Ministry of Education, Kuwait Embassy Tata Steel, Escorts, Glaxo India, Hindustan Times, Jet Airways (Kolkata). Microsoft Pvt. Ltd., Australia. India’s Prime Ministers new Conference Room ‘Panchavati’ has collected his works.
