AMIT BHAR

Born : 30th May, 1973

Born in Chinsurah, in the Hooghly district of West Bengal, even as a child, his first love and primary objective of his life was art. His notebooks at school were invariably filled with sketches and paintings.

He was blessed with the guidance of Shri Paresh Das, a noted artist and gold medalist. Subsequently, he gained further insights into art under the famous Subal Jana and Niloy Ghosh, who together enriched his style.

Amit Bhar is a worshipper of beauty in and out. Beauty and Paradise combines to create a cadence on his canvases wherever he uses his brush. His works are resplendent with the rapture of poetic brillance. His paintings have gathered praise from all over the world, including personal and corporate collections in Italy, Spain, Switzerland and the United States. In 2012, his works were featured in the prestigious British Museum Art Auction, and two years later, his paintings were published in the notable anthology The International Contemporary Masters (Volume 9), published by World Wide Art, Los Angeles.
